History Facts (History facts that some of you don't know)

As per research, I have gathered some facts about the history of the world, some are laws on different country, constitution, and even insane happening. Below here are those that I have gathered, so let's get rolling

1. Fascinating Facts about the U.S. Constitution

  • The U.S. Constitution is only made up of 4,400 words, the oldest and the shortest written constitution of a major government in the world.
  • And some of the words in the constitution are misspelled like the state of Pennsylvania, written as "Pensylvania"
  • The Constitution does not set forth requirements for the right to vote. As a result, at the outset of the Union, only male property-owners could vote. African Americans were not considered citizens, and women were excluded from the electoral process. Native Americans were not given the right to vote until 1924
  • Because of his poor health, Benjamin Franklin (at the age of 81) needed help to sign the Constitution. As he did so, tears streamed down his face.
  • It took one hundred days to actually “frame” the Constitution.
  • George Washington and James Madison were the only presidents who signed the Constitution.
  • The word “democracy” does not appear once in the Constitution.
  • The Constitution contains 4,543 words, including the signatures and has four sheets, 28-3/4 inches by 23-5/8 inches each. It contains 7,591 words including the 27 amendments.
2. Logo of Mercedes Benz

The Emblem - The Mercedes-Benz logo is trademarked by the three-point star, which you will find on all Mercedes-Benz vehicles. It is said that the logo is supposed to symbolize Daimler's ambition of universal motorization--"on land, on water and in the air.

The Three Point Star - The logo originally was a four-point star. In 1909, both a three-point and a four-point star were registered as company trademarks and legally protected; however, since 1910, only the three-point star has been used.

Different Emblems - While in use since 1910, there have been many variations of the Mercedes-Benz logo. These variations include: a circle around the logo; the words "Mercedes-Benz" embedded in a circle around the logo; and a raised three-point star without a circle around it.

3. The Mysterious Disappearance of USS Cyclops

The U.S.S. Cyclops was one of four Proteus-class colliers built for the U.S. Navy in 1910.
The ship was the second one named after the Greek mythical giants.
In 1917 the ship was commissioned due to the start of World War I and her captain, George Worley, was promoted to full captain.

She put to sea from Rio de Janeiro on 16 February 1918 and entered Bahia on 20 February. Two days later, she departed for Baltimore, Maryland, with no stops scheduled, carrying the manganese ore. The ship was thought to be overloaded when she left Brazil, as her maximum capacity was 8,000 long tons (8,100 t). Before leaving port, Commander Worley had submitted a report that the starboard engine had a cracked cylinder and was not operative. This report was confirmed by a survey board, which recommended, however, that the ship be returned to the U.S. She made an unscheduled stop in Barbados because the water level was over the Plimsoll line, indicating an overloaded condition; however investigations in Rio proved the ship had been loaded and secured properly. Cyclops then set out for Baltimore on 4 March, and was rumored to have been sighted on 9 March by the molasses tanker Amolco near Virginia, but this was denied by Amolco's captain. Additionally, because Cyclops was not due in Baltimore until 13 March, it is highly unlikely that the ship would have been near Virginia on 9 March, as that location would have placed her only about a day from Baltimore. In any event, Cyclops never made it to Baltimore, and no wreckage of her has ever been found. Reports indicate that on 10 March, the day after the ship was rumored to have been sighted by Amolco, a violent storm swept through the Virginia Capes area. While some suggest that the combination of the overloaded condition, engine trouble, and bad weather may have conspired to sink Cyclops, an extensive naval investigation concluded: "Many theories have been advanced, but none that satisfactorily accounts for her disappearance." This summation was written, however, before two of Cyclops's sister ships, Proteus and Nereus, vanished in the North Atlantic during World War II. Both ships were transporting heavy loads of metallic ore similar to that which was loaded on Cyclops during her fatal voyage. In both cases, it was theorized that their loss was the result of catastrophic structural failure, but a more outlandish theory attributes all three vessels' disappearances to the Bermuda Triangle.

4. Abraham Lincoln's Religious Uncertainty

Abraham Lincoln's religious beliefs are a matter of debate. Lincoln grew up in a highly religious family, but never joined any church.
As a young man he was a skeptic. He frequently referenced God and quoted the Bible; he attended Protestant church services with his wife and children.
After the deaths of two of his children, he became more intensely concerned with God's plan for mankind. He was private about his beliefs and respected the beliefs of others.
Lincoln never made a clear profession of standard Christian beliefs; he did believe in an all-powerful God that shaped events and, by 1865, was expressing those beliefs in major speeches.
Abraham Lincoln is the only U.S. President who never joined a church and at one time seen as atheist.

5. King Tut's Dagger

King Tutankhamun, or King Tut if we want to be a little less formal has been frequently study by archaeologists since the discovery of his tomb in 1922. When the Ancient Egyptian Pharaoh's Tomb was opened up, it was believed a curse was released onto the archaeologists. However, it wasn't until recently that researchers discovered something a little more unusual about King Tut's tomb. Among many Artifacts recovered, there was a golden dagger, and an iron one. However, archaeologists and historians were under the belief that the Ancient Egyptians (around 1300 BC) didn't have access to any iron. The only known civilization to have used iron around 1300 BC was the Hittite civilization! The concentration found in the iron used by the Hittite civilization revealed a high concentration level, primarily found in meteors! The Hittites and the Ancient Egyptians were known to have constant contact with each other. After much debate, it has been concluded that King Tut's dagger, among many other iron artifacts, originated from a meteorite carrying iron that struck the Earth!

Anger Management

Are you a sort tempered? Do you ave a very sort fuse or getting yourself involving in frequent argument and fights? Well, you need some anger management

Anger is one healthy emotion, but when chronic, explosive anger spirals out of control, it can have serious consequences for your relationships, your health, and your state of mind. With insight about the real reasons for your anger and these anger management tools, you can learn to keep your temper from hijacking your life.

Understanding anger

The emotion of anger is neither good nor bad. It’s perfectly healthy and normal to feel angry when you’ve been mistreated or wronged. The feeling isn't the problem—it's what you do with it that makes a difference. Anger becomes a problem when it harms you or others.
If you have a hot temper, you may feel like it’s out of your hands and there’s little you can do to tame the beast. But you have more control over your anger than you think. You can learn to express your emotions without hurting others—and when you do, you’ll not only feel better, you’ll also be more likely to get your needs met. Mastering the art of anger management takes work, but the more you practice, the easier it will get. And the payoff can be huge. Learning to control your anger and express it appropriately can help you build better relationships, achieve your goals, and lead a healthier, more satisfying life.

Myths and Facts about Anger

Myth: I shouldn’t “hold in” my anger. It’s healthy to vent and let it out.
Fact: While it’s true that suppressing and ignoring anger is unhealthy, venting is no better. Anger is not something you have to “let out” in an aggressive way in order to avoid blowing up. In fact, outbursts and tirades only fuel the fire and reinforce your anger problem.
Myth: Anger, aggression, and intimidation help me earn respect and get what I want.
Fact: True power doesn’t come from bullying others. People may be afraid of you, but they won’t respect you if you can’t control yourself or handle opposing viewpoints. Others will be more willing to listen to you and accommodate your needs if you communicate in a respectful way.
Myth: I can’t help myself. Anger isn’t something you can control.
Fact: You can’t always control the situation you’re in or how it makes you feel, but you can control how you express your anger. And you can express your anger without being verbally or physically abusive. Even if someone is pushing your buttons, you always have a choice about how to respond.
Myth: Anger management is about learning to suppress your anger.
Fact: Never getting angry is not a good goal. Anger is normal, and it will come out regardless of how hard you try to suppress it. Anger management is all about becoming aware of your underlying feelings and needs and developing healthier ways to manage upset. Rather than trying to suppress your anger, the goal is to express it in constructive ways.

Why anger management is important

You might think that venting your anger is healthy, that the people around you are too sensitive, that your anger is justified, or that you need to show your fury to get respect. But the truth is that anger is much more likely to damage your relationships, impair your judgment, get in the way of success, and have a negative impact on the way people see you.
  • Out-of-control anger hurts your physical health. Constantly operating at high levels of stress and tension is bad for your health. Chronic anger makes you more susceptible to heart disease, diabetes, high cholesterol levels, a weakened immune system, insomnia, and high blood pressure.
  • Out-of-control anger hurts your mental health. Chronic anger consumes huge amounts of mental energy and clouds your thinking, making it harder to concentrate, see the bigger picture, and enjoy life. It can also lead to stress, depression, and other mental health problems.
  • Out-of-control anger hurts your career. Constructive criticism, creative differences, and heated debate can be healthy. But lashing out only alienates your colleagues, supervisors, or clients and erodes their respect. What’s more, a bad reputation can follow you wherever you go, making it harder and harder to get ahead.
  • Out-of-control anger hurts your relationships with others. It causes lasting scars in the people you love most and gets in the way of your friendships and work relationships. Chronic, intense anger makes it hard for others to trust you, speak honestly, or feel comfortable—they never know what is going to set you off or what you will do. Explosive anger is especially damaging to children.

Some Tips to get a Hi-Score at Flappy Birds

There are this game  that anyone got hooked up with, so I just tried it, and yes, it is addicting and it is very irritating because of the difficulty of the game. So I played it and analyzed the game and I manage to reach the silver star that is equivalent to 40 (as seen to the highest score on my screenshot, but I can't manage to do it again, lol)

Here are some of my tips just to get hi-score, and maybe you can do better than me.

1. Use a wider screen while you are playing, or if you don't have a android tablet or an iPad, check if your device is capable of USB OTG (On-The-Go) you can plug in a USB mouse for a better clicking and view of the way for your little fat bird.

As for me I have a O+ 9.76 tablet that is capable of USB OTG, so I managed to plugged my USB mouse and have a nice flying maneuver while playing  the game.

2. Beware of corners. This corner of the pipes always its the head of my little bird, so you better be careful of your tapping not to tap too much. Always measure your taps, short measured taps will do the trick.

3. Time your blinking. Blinking of  the eye has a big effect on getting your bird hit the pipe, so you better blink if the bird is not passing through the pipe or you will end up losing your rhythm and making your bird hits the pipe.

4. CONCENTRATE! Although this is a 2d simple game, it requires some concentration if you really want to get a hi-score, so you better not be distracted while playing the game.

Well that's it, that's what I can share for you who wants to get some hi-score, just practice, and everything will be fine, oh, hey, here is the screenshot of my last game.
